Blackout -- Hint of Floral

I love black with an accent piece for fall! For this look I'm wearing leggings and a tank with the floral cardigan overtop. This is something I would wear to class because it's cute and comfortable. I'm also wearing grey riding boots with this, but I think my black combat boots would also be cute!

Of course I couldn't survive fall without some hot cocoa and mini marshmallows! Yum!

Fall is Here!

     At the first sign of cooler weather I was quick to whip out the scarf collection and the oversized shirts! This gem was a gift from my grandparents. I believe it's from World Market, but I'm not sure. An oversized denim or plain flannel is my go-to for fall and winter weather. My hair is up in a simple headband tuck.
     Here are just a few shots of my outfit. I know they're not really great quality, they were taken with my iPhone. I'm hoping to get a better camera soon, but I don't want that to hold me back from expressing my style. Hope y'all enjoy this outfit!

Fall Wish List

     I figure I need something fashion related, with this being a fashion blog and all. This is only a small portion of the items I am looking forward to purchasing this fall! These are the things I feel I won't survive fall without.
     I am having a hard time deciding how to thoughtfully spend my money. As college life goes, I have very little money. When I get money I usually have to spend it on things like shampoo and floss (BORING!). Ideally I would either prioritize my list and then purchase the items as I get the money, or I would save up a decent amount of money and go on a mini shopping spree (yay!).
     Or I'll just keep blowing all my money as soon as I get it... Habits really do die hard. Enjoy!

It's Official

            So, I’ve decided to start a blog. This is something I have wanted to do for a while now… but I couldn’t decide if I was doing it because it’s what I “should” do as a fashionista or because it’s genuinely what I want to do. If I’m being honest, which I am because that’s what bloggers do, I still don’t know if this is going to work out. I’ve done all the research and brainstorming and all that. Now it’s just a matter of putting the time and effort into making this into something real.

            I know this is going to take work, and with college and a social life (wait, what?) I make no promises for weekly post with thrilling edge-of-genius content. I have already decided that if I keep up with this and post regularly and no one ever reads it then that’s OKAY. For me, this can’t just be about potentially becoming some famous fashion blogger one day – though I’ll still hope for the best – this has to be a platform for me to express myself in a way I feel I can’t on other social media platforms. I want this to be a place where I can talk about things like: what clothing items I’m loving for fall, my new favorite lipstick, my next hair color, and all that good fashion nonsense.

            With that said, this is the beginning of something with a lot of potential. I hope that if you are reading this you see as much as I do and you continue to read my posts and watch me grow, not only as a fashionista, but as a writer and a person as well.
